Chambers Rosewood Dry Flor Apera

Pale straw colour with fresh Flor characters of delicate floral notes, red apple, nuts, cheese cloth and sea spray. A clean and fresh palate with the cheese and salt characters carrying though over lingering savoury flavours. An elegant, dry palate finished with subtle warmth. This crisp and dry fortified makes a superb drink to stimulate the tastebuds and sharpen the appetite. Excellent accompaniment to tapas, frittata and olive tapenade.

About The Winery

The unpretentious public face of this small family winery belies the fact that they produce some of the richest and most acclaimed wines in the world. Since arriving in Rutherglen, north eastern Victoria, six generations ago, the family has quietly gone about establishing a particularly enviable reputation for their fortified wines. Stephen Chambers is now making his own mark after taking over the winemaking role from his legendary father Bill Chambers OAM.

In 2019 their Old Vine Muscadelle received gold and the trophy for Best Commercial Muscadelle. Their Rutherglen Muscadelle received gold in the same Best Commercial Muscadelle category.
