his wine demonstrates exotic raisins, black cherry and dried fruit aromas and flavours. The solera for this wine is meticulously maintained and has been for over 60 years, and for a wine to be considered worthy to enter the Rare solera, the single vintage must be of exceptional quality. Serve after dinner with plum and rich chocolate pudding or even by itself. Once opened the wine can be enjoyed over many months.

The unpretentious public face of this small family winery belies the fact that they produce some of the richest and most acclaimed wines in the world. Since arriving in Rutherglen, north eastern Victoria, six generations ago, the family has quietly gone about establishing a particularly enviable reputation for their fortified wines. Stephen Chambers is now making his own mark after taking over the winemaking role from his legendary father Bill Chambers OAM.
In 2019 their Old Vine Muscadelle received gold and the trophy for Best Commercial Muscadelle. Their Rutherglen Muscadelle received gold in the same Best Commercial Muscadelle category.
