Clyde Park Wines Single Block C Chardonnay

The lifted bouquet swirls with jasmine, marzipan, Portuguese tart, struck match and toasted oak. The vibrant palate is packed with an orchard of stone fruit (most notably white peach), cantaloupe, brioche and crunchy minerality. While this Chardonnay graces the full length of the palate in retains remarkable austerity with abundant richness and length. Enjoy it at any moment over the next 14 years+ with clam chowder or mushroom and truffle risotto.

About The Winery

Clyde Park Vineyard was established in 1979 when the varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were planted on the property.Further plantings since have increased the vineyard to 35 acres, expanding the original Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and adding Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. In all we have 7 clones of Pinot Noir, 6 clones of Chardonnay, 2 clones of Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc and a sole clone of Pinot Gris.

The Jongebloed family have owned Clyde Park since 1996 and have concentrated on developing premium quality cool climate wines, which today are sold across Australia and recently have begun to export. They are proud to be a James Halliday 5 star rated vineyard for a number of years, and their wines have won numerous awards.
