Clyde Park Wines Single Block D Pinot Noir

The aroma sings of kirsch syrup, mocha, cherry ripe and charred French oak. The palate is bright and generously up front and aptly supports the aroma with juicy raspberry, chocolate and berry compote, driven by frisky acidity. The wine is particularly easy drinking with fine but abundant tannin. With generous length, the wine is delectably moreish and is ready to fully appreciate now or over the next ten years. Would compliment pate and charcuterie.

About The Winery

Clyde Park Vineyard was established in 1979 when the varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were planted on the property.Further plantings since have increased the vineyard to 35 acres, expanding the original Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and adding Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. The Jongebloed family have owned Clyde Park since 1996 and have concentrated on developing premium quality cool climate wines, which today are sold across Australia and recently have begun to export. They are proud to be a James Halliday 5 star rated vineyard for a number of years, and their wines have won numerous awards.
