It’s savoury, juicy, spicy and inviting all at once, its cherried bursts complements beautifully by sprays of herbs and fresh cut flowers. With a balance of fruit and savoury characters on the palate, fresh raspberry and strawberry combine nicely with a mineral character finishing dry, textural and a little funky.

About The Winery
Howard Vineyard wines are estate grown from our family owned vineyard in the Adelaide Hills, one of Australia’s most exciting regions. Planted in 1998 Howard Vineyard has two vineyard sites. A Red and Rose producing vineyard at Mt Barker (450m). A slightly warmer site in a cool climate. This with our central approach of sustainable viticulture (including intensive hand pruning, shoot thinning, bunch thinning, low yields and hand picking) we are able to achieve optimal ripeness for Shiraz, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon as well as world class Rosés from these varieties.
Our winemaking approach is to pick at optimal ripeness for lean flavours to showcase the quality and true expression of our vineyards. Our wines are light to medium body with vibrant flavours and great natural acidity. Our new “400m” range refers to the height at which the wines are grown.
