Rob Dolan ‘Black Label’ Savagnin

Not to be confused with Sauvignon Blanc, the round and generous Savagnin has a long history and is most famously produced in eastern France. Chardonnay drinkers will appreciate the weight, body and tight acidity, while those partial to an aged white wine will enjoy the tertiary characters emerging in the 2016 vintage.

Pair with butternut squash and foods that are caramelized from roasting or grilling, like crisp-skinned roast chicken or pork.
